What is a survey?
A Survey means that a professional surveyor, or land engineer, must inspect your property to determine the location of all boundaries and structures on a property. He or she will prepare a “plat,” or drawing, which shows the nature of the present structures, measurements of all property lines, encroachments, building lines, streets, sheds, utilities, etc.
Surveys usually cost from $200 to $400 dollars depending on the property.
